Pregnant? Avoid drugs and vaccinations

All pregnant women should know that any drug can affect their growing fetus and result in fetal malformations and birth injuries. Fetal damage can come from nearly every class of drugs.

That’s why chiropractic’s drug-free approach is such a blessing to pregnant women.

Especially avoid the mercury-laden flu shot that is being recommended for pregnant women. Why risk having an autistic or brain-injured child by having brain-toxic chemicals injected into the mother?

If there is any group of individuals who need chiropractic care the most – it is pregnant women.

Institute of Medicine report

A number of people have asked about the Institute of Medicine (IoM) report saying vaccines don’t cause autism.

The report is flawed. The IoM consistently refuses to review scientific papers showing a vaccine-autism link and instead only reviews papers (often written by researchers with ties to drug companies) that report vaccines are safe. One of the best responses we’ve seen to the IoM report is from Natural News. Here is the (edited) beginning of the article; click on the link below to read the rest of it.

The Institute of Medicine report claimed to review the adverse effects of vaccines. The old media predictably twisted the report into a complete lie and loudly declared that vaccines were once again proven completely safe! The presstitutes, it turns out, utterly failed to read the very report they claimed to be writing about, because if you read the IoM’s report, it openly admits that MMR vaccines cause seizures, measles, skin reactions, loss of consciousness and many other problems. In fact, the report admits that all kinds of vaccines cause deadly side effects such as difficulty breathing. Know the truth about how dangerous vaccines really are. It will shock you that the mainstream media failed to report any of this. http://www.naturalnews.com/033447_Institute_of_Medicine_vaccines.html

How do prescription drugs get tested for approval in the US?

Believe it or not many prescription drugs are tested in foreign countries on people that may be completely different from the people for whom the drugs will be prescribed. That’s one reason why so many people are harmed. For every one person killed by a prescription drug, many more are injured, some severely.

An article in Vanity Fair sums up this state of affairs very well:

Prescription drugs kill some 200,000 Americans every year. Will that number go up, now that most clinical trials are conducted overseas – on sick Russians, homeless Poles, and slum-dwelling Chinese – in places where regulation is virtually nonexistent, the F.D.A. doesn’t reach, and “mistakes” can end up in pauper’s graves? The authors investigate the globalization of the pharmaceutical industry, and the U.S. government’s failure to rein in a lethal profit machine.

Asperger’s and Chiropractic. A 6-year-old male patient was brought to the office in October 2000. He had not responded to standard medical care. His initial complaints included: Asperger’s Syndrome that resulted in uncontrollable “rocking, jumping and flapping” of his hands; asthma triggered by exertion; seasonal allergies and colds or bronchial congestion; and severe allergies to mold, dust, animal dander and seasonal triggers. His Asperger’s symptoms started at age 3, and he had asthma and allergy symptoms since early childhood.

Cranial and spinal subluxation patterns were detected and a treatment program was implemented to address these patterns using SOT protocols and procedures.

The patient and family reported that the Asperger’s Syndrome symptoms “settled down within the first week of care.” While first seen in October 2000, by January 2001 his Asperger’s symptoms had been stabilizing and he was off medications for asthma and allergies.

His Asperger’s symptoms continued to improve and only occurred infrequently when under extreme stress. His asthma and allergies responded positively within the first few weeks of care,

Presently the patient is 15 years old and has not needed any medication over the past 7 years, nor have his Asperger’s symptoms returned. At the present time this patient is being seen on a wellness/maintenance chiropractic care program. (1)

Migraine, cervicogenic headache and chiropractic.

Systematic literature searches of controlled clinical trials published through August 2009 relevant to chiropractic practice were conducted using many databases. Twenty-one articles were used to develop recommendations. The evidence suggests that chiropractic care improves migraine and cervicogenic headaches. (2)

Chiropractic and mental health
Since chiropractic’s inception in 1895 the psychotherapeutic benefits have been noticed. Simply stated – the brain functions better when the body has no subluxations.

In fact, for many decades in the 20th century, chiropractors owned and ran sanitariums for “nervous and mental disorders.” A famous book called Mental Health and Chiropractic, which includes many case studies and the contributions of Nobel prize laureates, discusses the possible biological mechanism behind chiropractic’s great success with brain health.

Today, with so many children exhibiting autism, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, Asperger’s syndrome, Rhett’s syndrome and other disorders affecting their personality and social function, it is essential that all children receive a chiropractic checkup. Below in this newsletter is a summary of a paper on chiropractic, autism and depression (see Researching Chiropractic). Please bring in your children for care.

Chiropractic helps most all children in so many ways – grades increase, concentration improves, balance and coordination are enhanced, sports performance improves – why wouldn’t you bring in your child for chiropractic’s unique subluxation correction?

What part of your body does this?
It deactivates drugs – without it a few ounces of alcohol could keep you drunk for life; a moment’s adrenalin rush would go on and on; pharmaceuticals would never stop altering your body chemistry.

  • It helps life sustaining nutrients to get to your cells.
  • It converts food into nutrients.
  • It stores fats, sugars, iron, and vitamins for later use by the body
  • It is the most amazing juggler in existence – creating and balancing over 13,000 chemicals and hormones.
  • It keeps your blood sugar levels within a safe margin and balances vitamins and minerals so your bones will stay strong and won’t deteriorate.
  • It clears out inhaled, swallowed or absorbed (through the skin) toxins, chemicals and pollution. Without this constant detoxification of waste and toxins you’d be dead in less than a day.
  • It works 24 hours a day, seven days a week and doesn’t take off for holidays.
  • With the exception of your skin it is the largest organ in your body and performs more than 500 functions to keep you healthy.

If you guessed your liver go to the head of the class.

When your liver is not functioning properly you may feel sluggish and possibly nauseous. Many of your organs are affected by an unhealthy liver – your eyes can be bloodshot, you can have bad breath, abdominal bloating, poor digestion, fatigue, a coated tongue, a sluggish metabolism, excessive body heat, sugar cravings and inability to lose weight. A sluggish liver stresses the kidney, heart and brain.

This is one very important organ.

An important way to keep your liver healthy is to make sure your spine is healthy. Why? Because your liver, as well as your other organs, needs constant communications from your spine. A subluxation could block essential communications between your brain and body, potentially affecting liver function.

To keep your liver healthy stay away from drugs (whether prescribed or recreational). Many people find that doing a “liver flush” or a “liver cleanse” is a healthy practice to help the liver detoxify and rejuvenate. These are usually done when the seasons change.

This is just another good reason why you and your family seeing your chiropractor makes good common sense.

Depression, anxiety and chiropractic. A 58-year-old male with shoulder and neck pain sought chiropractic care. Past history revealed two major car accidents that involved hospitalizations. At the same time the patient had many symptoms related to his depression and anxiety, such as poor concentration, irritability, lethargy, panic attacks and heart palpitations. He scored 46 on the Beck Depression Inventory-II, which indicates severe depression.

Care was directed towards the location and correction of subluxations. The patient was seen three times per week for three months with documented improvement in quality of life. (1)

Apples top list for pesticide residue (so go organic)

The Environmental Working Group’s 2011 Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce (www.ewg.org/foodnews/summary)revealed that applies contain the most pesticide residue of all popular produce sold in the US. Celery and strawberries followed with very high pesticide rates.

Of the 50 common vegetables and fruits tested, the high pesticide group included peaches, spinach, imported nectarines and grapes, sweet bell peppers, potatoes, domestic blueberries, lettuce, kale, and collard greens, while onions, sweet corn and pineapples had the least pesticide residue.

Sales of organic fruits and vegetables — which are grown without synthetic pesticides — now make up 12% of all U.S. fruit and vegetable sales, according to the Organic Trade Association, nearly $10.6 billion in 2010, up nearly 12% percent from 2009.

We can’t stress it enough – for greater health eat non-pesticide foods; go organic.

Is this you?

Hmm, you certainly don’t see this when you look in a mirror. Well, like so much of life, it’s below the surface.

This is a dramatic illustration of the spark of electricity that jumps across a gap (synapse) between each of your nerve cells. Right now that is happening BILLIONS of times each second as you read these words (or do anything else).

Without that spark you couldn’t breathe, walk, talk, eat or think. None of your organs would work; without that spark you could not survive for even a nano-second.

You don’t really feel these sparks of life because they are very subtle. Nearly all the sensations and goings-on inside you occur without your awareness. After all, how could you perform day-to-day activities if you also had to consciously deal with billions of nerve interactions every second? You couldn’t.

What orchestrates all these nerve firings? Certainly not your conscious mind. We humans can barely walk and chew gum at the same time much less juggle millions and billions of interactions at the same time.

Fortunately we have a wisdom within us that controls, coordinates, orchestrates and directs all these amazing things so that we can walk and chew gum and even talk at the same time. While we do these things energy flows over our brain and outlying nerves and vivifies each and every organ, gland, muscle, tissue and cell to life.

The “conductor” of our body processes is referred to as our innate (inborn) intelligence. Our body wisdom uses the brain and nervous system to send billions upon billions of messages over billions of synapses (gaps) and directs our many body parts to do their job and respond to stress.

Your chiropractor’s role is to make sure there is no interference between your brain, nerves and body parts – so that your energies can flow without any blockages.

Chiropractors do this by locating and correcting subluxations – tiny distortions in your body that you may not even feel, yet can cause tremendous damage. Chiropractors spend years learning the art and science of locating and correcting subluxations. They also study the natural philosophy of life and health that guides chiropractic clinical practice and research.

Everyone needs to be checked and adjusted for subluxations. Even chiropractors go to chiropractors to be sure they are free of subluxations so they are functioning at their peak.

Unblock your energies so that your inner “conductor” (healer) can send its information throughout your body without interference. You’ll then be able to function at your best with lots of energy, high resistance to disease and the ability to handle life’s stresses and stay balanced (emotionally as well as physically).

Hepatitis B vaccination increases autism 300%

Researchers discovered that vaccinating boys with the hepatitis B vaccine that is given shortly after birth triples the chances that they will be diagnosed with autism compared to boys never vaccinated or vaccinated after the first month of life. (1)

The importance of good posture

According to researchers reporting in the American Journal of Pain Management, “Posture affects and moderates every physiological function from breathing to hormonal production. Spinal pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, pulse, and lung capacity are also among the functions influenced by posture.”

Posture especially influences respiration, oxygenation and sympathetic function. Ultimately, it appears that homeostasis and autonomic regulation are intimately connected with posture. It has been clinically observed that many symptoms, including pain, may be moderated or eliminated by improved posture.(2)

We’d like to add however that good posture is much more than remembering to “sit up straight”, “don’t hunch”, “hold your head up” and other ways of holding ourselves. Most of our posture is unconscious and is the result of how we deal with our relationship with gravity, stress, our emotions, fatigue and whether we have subluxations or not.

Because of that it is important for children (as well as adults) to have a chiropractic checkup to ensure that they grow up in balance and alignment.

Researching chiropractic

Tourette’s, tardive dyskinesia and chiropractic. A 45-year-old male with a history of fatigue, Tourette’s syndrome, tardive dyskinesia and CREST syndrome sought chiropractic care. CREST syndrome (also known as limited scleroderma) is a hardening of the skin that can sometimes affect the throat and digestive system. There is no known cure.

In addition the patient stuttered when he spoke and had an uncoordinated stagger as he walked, along with tremors in his arms and hands.

Over a 12-month period he received approximately 108 chiropractic adjustments, and was also given exercises, traction and heel lifts. After the first few months of care the patient’s wife reported improvements in his energy level and that the tremors were decreasing. After a year of care the patient was markedly improved. Follow-up X-rays showed improvements as well.(3)

More on aspartame

Aspartame (NutraSweet™, Equal™) is in thousands of food products, especially if they are labeled “diet,” “sugar free” or “low-cal.” Aspartame breaks down into toxic substances such as methanol (alcohol that blinds drinkers), formaldehyde (embalming fluid – cancerous) and formic acid (found in ant venom).

The FDA has received thousands of aspartame related reports complaining of seizures, migraine, headache, memory loss, vision problems, coma, cancer, brain tumors and death. Aspartame appears to worsen or mimic the symptoms of fibromyalgia, MS, lupus, ADD, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue and depression. (1) Please avoid this dangerous chemical.

PSA screening test – “PSA era is over”

The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, a blood test doctors use to see if a man may have prostate cancer, has been controversial for a long time. In 1987 the New England Journal of Medicine published an article suggesting that rising PSA levels could be useful to detect and monitor prostate cancer. However in the October 2004 Journal of Urology the lead author of the 1987 study had a dramatic change of opinion. He and his fellow researchers found that the PSA test was discovering smaller tumors that were less likely to be deadly.

Now we know that PSA levels are more indicative of whether the prostate is enlarged than if it is cancerous and needs to be treated. Prostate cancer is something people often die with rather than die from. “The PSA era is over in the US,” said Dr. Stamey, professor of urology at Stanford University School of Medicine and lead author of the 1987 NEJM study. “Our study raises a very serious question of whether any man should even use the PSA test for prostate cancer screening any more.” (2)

Concentration, reading, writing, communication skills and chiropractic. This is a wonderful study that reminds us that all children should receive chiropractic care.

In this study ten children who received chiropractic care for subluxation correction for one year were evaluated. The children received upper cervical, full spine and cranial adjustments.

By the time of the 5th adjustment, the parents reported signs of progress in awareness and attention behavior. The majority of the children improved their reading, writing and communication skills and related better to each other socially.

As they were more balanced structurally, neurologically and behaviorally, improvement of their schoolwork was remarked upon by their parents and teachers. By the 12th office visit their posture and visual coordination improved significantly. The doctor, parents, relatives and teachers corroborated these improvements. (3)

Chiropractic and pregnancy pain

A Norwegian study reveals that one-third of patients seek chiropractic care as first choice for pain during pregnancy.

The study interviewed the first 100 pregnant women presenting at a chiropractic clinic. The interview included reasons for visiting the clinic, average weeks of pain, where they were in pain and the number of chiropractic visits. The study found that 90% of the patients’ chief complaint was pelvic pain and for 30% of the patients chiropractic was their first choice for care.

Those who had never had back pain before waited the shortest time before seeking care. The authors also found that the longer the patients waited to seek chiropractic care the more areas of pain they experienced and the more areas of the spine needed adjusting. (1)

Kids get measles from the measles vaccine!
This is coming from the MMWR which is the U.S. government’s own publication. We’ve always known that vaccinated kids can contract measles. There are numerous reports in the medical journals of epidemics in fully vaccinated populations. Here is just one from Illinois in which 17 high school students who were fully vaccinated came down with measles even though 99% of the high school population was vaccinated with the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine. Pervasive developmental disorder. A three-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder by a pediatrician, had communication problems, apraxia and speech delay. The child received chiropractic care over the course of 5 months to his upper cervical (neck) and sacral regions.

The outcomes were measured by re-assessments, parental evaluation and health care provider and teacher reports. The child began making friends, became more interactive and less defiant and was reported to be an overall happier child following the introduction of chiropractic care. (3)

Please keep your laptop off of your lap

A new study finds that using your laptop computer where it was designed to be used (in your lap) can lower your sperm count. Researchers took the temperature in the testes of men working on their laptops. In just 10-15 minutes, the temperature down there rose to levels high enough to damage sperm production. (4)

Do you have a non-vaccinated child? Please take this survey.
Studies published in medical journals reveal that non-vaccinated children are significantly healthier than vaccinated children. One such study on the health of non-vaccinated children is being conducted right now and you can be a part of it.

It is a short survey. So far over 700 parents have participated, but to have accurate results at least 2000 participants are needed. Please go to http://www.vaccineinjury.info/vaccinations-in-general/health-unvaccinated-children.html

It’ll only take a few minutes of your time at most and future generations will thank you.

What are grandparents?

(Taken from papers written by a class of 8-year-olds)
·    They can take their teeth and gums out.
·    Grandparents don’t have to be smart.
·    They have to answer questions like ‘Why isn’t God married?’ and ‘How come dogs chase cats?’
·    When they read to us, they don’t skip. They don’t mind if we ask for the same story over again.
·    Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don’t have television because they are the only grownups who like to spend time with us.
·    They know we should have snack time before bedtime, and they say prayers with us and kiss us even when we’ve acted badly.
·    A 6-year-old was asked where his grandma lived. ”Oh,” he said, ”She lives at the airport, and when we want her, we just go get her. Then when we’re done having her visit, we take her back to the airport.”
·    Grandpa is the smartest man on earth! He teaches me good things, but I don’t get to see him enough to get as smart as him!
·    It’s funny when they bend over; you hear gas leaks, and they blame their dog.

Bye!!!
